Welcome to the Future of Building Management with MYBOS V4!
Attention all MYBOS users! The transition to MYBOS version 4 is right around the corner, offering a fresh and more powerful platform to elevate your building management experience. This comprehensive update is set to introduce a range of new features, alongside an improved user interface, ensuring an even smoother and more efficient management process for you and your residents.
Before the Migration:
- Inform Your Residents: Utilise the V3 Broadcast feature to alert residents about the upcoming app switch. (Broadcast Template)
- Preserve Custom Email Templates: Custom email template modifications won't transfer automatically; remember to copy these adjustments pre-migration.
- Update MYBOS QR Codes: Your current QR codes (if you use them) will need to be updated to continue to work. Please remove any QR codes from the site on or before your migration date. Once you are in the new V4 platform you can download a new QR code to replace them.
During Migration:
Expect temporary V3 account access restrictions to protect database integrity. Once migration concludes, you'll receive an invite to set up your new V4 password.
Post-Migration Steps:
- Re-customise resident email templates and reinvite residents to the new platform.
- Download and deploy updated QR codes for seamless site access by downloading the Lift Notice within the Community Settings section of the portal.
- Update the links on your media screen to the V4 content (if you have one)
- If you have SPF records configured for your emails coming out of MYBOS, please contact support@mybos.com for this to be setup for your building/s.
Important Changes to Your Community Portal
The community portal is now exclusively for residents to register their details on the MYBOS platform. At MYBOS, we are committed to protecting your data. V4 improves on the already strict data protection policies MYBOS has implemented by requiring all residents to have individual logins to interact with the platform, including placing maintenance requests and booking amenities. For Multi-Building Managers:
If you oversee several properties under different accounts, our support team will assist in re-establishing access. Should some properties lag in migration, temporary dual-platform access may be necessary.
Managing users and permissions
You can now self-manage users and permissions (such as edit and delete permissions) from the company portal. You will need to be granted company admin status to do this. If you require this level of access, please contact support for verification.
