By-Laws

By Laws are a list of rules for shared property living to manage common areas, parking and building use within complexes.

The building by-laws are rules that all members within a building must follow, and can be linked to the Breaches module to track all common and parking area complaints. 

 

Setting up By-laws

Step 1:  Click on Building ➔ By-laws
 
Step 2: Select New in the top right corner, and start entering in your By-Laws one at a time via the pop up screen, i.e. enter the By-Laws Title and Description, then select Save.
 
 

 ❕ Numbering of By-Laws is automatic

Step 3: Once your By-Laws have been entered, you can make further edits by clicking on the three dots next to a by law, and selecting Edit. Deleting a By-Law will automatically move up the list of by-laws and re-number the rest of your existing By-Laws.
 
 

You can bulk expand and shrink all By-Laws on screen via the buttons in the top right corner highlighted above. This can also be done at an individual level by selecting the chevron.
