Utilising the shift log

In this video, I walk you through how to effectively use the shift log feature in the MyBoss V4 portal. I demonstrate how to add new entries, include comments, and manage entries with different options like editing, inserting photos, and exporting reports. 1. Introduction

  • Purpose: Overview of how to navigate and utilize the Shift Log feature in the MyBoss V4 Portal.

2. Accessing the Shift Log

  • Sign into the building manager portal.

  • Locate and click on the "Shift Log" option at the top of the screen.

3. Adding a New Entry

  • Position the cursor at the bottom of the Shift Log section.

  • Type your entry (e.g., "test 1 test today").

  • Option to add comments for additional context.

  • Click "Send" to submit the entry.

4. Editing Entries

  • Use the three dots menu for additional options:

    • Edit existing entries.

    • Set priority levels for entries.

    • Insert photos or files related to the entry.

    • Delete entries if necessary.

5. Exporting Shift Log Entries

  • Click on the export option for reporting purposes.

  • Select the date range for the entries you want to export (e.g., last month).

  • Choose to include all entries or filter by severity level.

  • Option to include deleted shift logs.

  • Select the desired file format for export (PDF, Word, Excel).

  • Click "Export" to finalize the process.
