Resident Maintenance Requests
Manage resident maintenance requests submitted through the MYBOS Resident Portal.
Residents can submit maintenance requests through the MYBOS Resident Portal. Building Managers can then review each request, approve or reject it, and convert approved requests into Cases for contractor action.

Viewing Submitted Maintenance Requests
Step 1: Go to Cases > Maintenance Requests
From here, select Accept or Reject to progress the maintenance request
✅ Accepting turns the maintenance request into a Case.
❌ Rejecting asks you to provide a reason, which is then passed on to the resident.
Communicating with Residents
Building Managers can communicate directly with residents within the maintenance request by clicking the message icon.
❗ Please note:
- This messaging thread is separate from the main Messages module.
- Messages sent here do not sync with the Messages portal.
To view messages
Step 1: Navigate to Building Manager Portal > Cases > Click the button
