Managing Resident Registrations through the QR Code

We walk you through the process of reviewing and approving resident registrations via QR code. We highlight how to manage notifications and update resident information effectively. It's crucial to remember to notify residents by email if you're generating their login details.

Setting Up Email Notifications and Managing the Email Templates to Residents

  • Go to 'Settings' and then under 'Email and Template Options', select 'Residents'.

    • Ensure your email is set up under 'Manager Notification' for email notifications on new registrations from residents.

    • The email templates to residents are also under this section and you can adjust them if needed.


Approving Resident Registrations 

  • Return to the dashboard and select 'Resident Information Update Requests'.

    • Click on a request to view resident details.

  • Check the resident's registered information (contact, keys, vehicles, pets).

    • Note that the amount of information varies by resident.


Approve or Reject?

  • If rejecting a request, a notification will be sent to the resident.
  • Before you approve, if you need to send resident login details to the MYBOS Resident Portal ensure you tick 'Notify Resident by Email' option and generate the username and password. 
    • If the resident portal is not launched you can approve without ticking notify resident by email and they will still be notified that their information has been approved. 

Resident Details Updates Under Residents

  • After approval, the resident's information updates in the system.

    • Check the 'Residents' section and you will see details under here.
