  1. Understanding the Assets Feature

    • The assets feature in the system acts as a repository for your building's list of assets.

    • These assets can be linked to various historical records for tracking and management.

  2. Benefits of Using the Assets Feature

    • Asset management system: Maintain a comprehensive list of assets associated with your building.

    • Linking assets to records: Establish clear connections between assets and historical data for tracking maintenance, repairs, and activities.

    • Maintenance and Repairs: Schedule and track maintenance details, tasks, and repairs for each asset to ensure proper maintenance and prolong asset lifespan.

    • Tracking: Track location, status, and important details of each asset for visibility into utilization and planning for replacements or upgrades.

    • Reporting and Analysis: Generate insightful reports on asset performance, maintenance costs, depreciation, and other metrics to make informed decisions and optimize asset utilization.

  3. Creating and Managing Assets

    • Locate the Building on the left-hand menu and select Assets to access the Asset Register.

    • Create a new asset by providing information such as Asset Name, Location, Category, and other relevant details.

    • Add optional information like Date of Purchase, Asset Value, End of Life Value, and more.

    • Select a company for servicing the asset and add warranty details if needed.

    • Add photos, documents, and warranty details to the asset record for reference.

    • Generate a QR code for easy asset identification and access asset history for insights on maintenance, repairs, and depreciation.

    • Export asset data to Excel for further analysis and decision-making.

    • Filter assets by categories, make edits, and manage assets efficiently within the system.
