How to Use the Calendar to Manage Your Day

Learn how to use the MYBOS Calendar to manage maintenance schedules, amenity bookings, reminders, status updates, and colour-coded events.

The Calendar provides a clear snapshot of your building’s daily, weekly, and monthly operations.

In Calendar, you can view all of the following and quickly accept, reject or complete items:

How to Use the Calendar for Maintenance Schedule

Step by Step Walkthrough 

Step 1: Go to Building Manager Dashboard > Calendar

Step 2: Toggle views by clicking the Calendar button next to Add to select:

  • Month View 
  • Week View
  • Day View 

You can also filter views by clicking the Filter button next to Add

Step 3: To update an event, click the event > Open Update Event Status dropdown

Step 4: Click Completed, Failed or Pending

💡 You can also add other relevant documents such as Invoices in the relevant tabs.

Step 5: When selecting Failed, you have the option in the bottom right corner to turn to a Case. This is particularly useful when failed involves finding a fault in an asset. When Convert to Case is selected you will be taken to the case editing page

Colour Coding

Different colours are used to represent each type of event and task.
 

Maintenance Schedule events 

  • Untitled design (1)-2 Green - Completed
  • Untitled design-2 Red - Failed
  • Untitled design (2) Blue - Pending 

Amenity Bookings

  • Untitled design (1)-2 Green - Approved
  • Untitled design-2 Red - Rejected
  • Untitled design (3) Orange - Pending (which can be approved in the calendar)
