How to setup the Media Screen

Learn how to set up a Media Screen in MYBOS, customise display settings, manage multiple screens, and monitor online or offline status.

The Media screen feature is used as an electronic version of your lobby notice board. 

The Media Screen provides the following capabilities:
  • Support for multiple Media Screens, each displaying unique content.
  • Landscape and Portrait Orientation 
  • Customisable Background Images
  • Preview ability 
  • Media Screen dashboard displays whether each screen is online or offline. 

How to Setup the Media Screen 

Step by Step Walkthrough

Step 1: Go to Media Screen in the top left 

Step 2: Click New in the top right of the Media Screen dashboard

Step 3: Enter the name and address of the Media Screen > Save 

Step 4: From the Media Screen list, select your created screen. 

Step 5: Input the Lobby Screen URL (URL inside the green box in the top right) into your smart TV browser.

Step 6: Click on the Preview tab.

Step 7: Customise your Media Screen to your liking. 

Step 8: Preview the Media Screen by clicking on the Lobby Screen URL in the top right. 

Step 9: Once your happy with your changes, click Live Push. This will save your changes to your live monitor. 

💡 You can also make changes through the Live tab, however, changes are sent to the monitor right away. It is recommended you make changes in the Preview tab first.
