How to Set Up and Activate Resident Registration Portal

The Registration Portal enables residents to register their details and access building updates through a simple onboarding process.

The registration portal enables residents to register their contact information, facilitating communication and access to building updates.

The Registration Portal is used to onboard residents by providing initial login details, a welcome message, and a Lift Notice with a QR code to complete registration.

How to Set Up and Activate Resident Registration Portal

Step by Step Walkthrough

Step 1: In the MYBOS Building Manager Dashboard, select Community in the top left bar.

Step 2: Select Community Settings widget in the bottom left.

Step 3: The first step in creating the Registration Portal is to create a welcome message. This is what will appear when Residents first log in. Click Edit within the Welcome Message section.

Step 4: Type your welcome message into the text field. A template is provided below—please customise it to suit the operations of your building.

Welcome to the [YOUR BUILDING] Resident Portal

This portal gives you access to a range of building services and community features, including amenity bookings, maintenance requests, in-house service purchases, and our community marketplace.

To help us provide the best experience, please take a moment to complete your resident profile and ensure all details are accurate and up to date.

Step 5: Click Save to apply the welcome message

Step 6: The next step is to set up default login details that all residents will use for their initial access. After logging in, they can then customise these login details for their own use.

  1. Click Edit within the Login Details section

  2. Update the login Username and Password

  3. Click Save to finalise the details

Step 7: The next step is configuring the Lift Notice. Residents will scan the QR code on this notice to enter their details.

Step 8: Click Download next to the Lift Notice to save the Lift Notice as a word document.

Step 9: Click Enable Editing in the Word document header to customise the document

Step 10: Add the Username and Password that was set up in Step 6 at the bottom of the lift notice

❗You must complete and set up the username and password fields before posting the Lift Notice for residents. Otherwise, they will not have login details to register with.

Step 11: After editing the Lift Notice, return to the Registration Portal settings and activate the portal by toggling the red Deactivated button to Activated
