How to Send Emails from a Private Domain out of MYBOS
To have emails sent from your own private domain instead of noreply@mybos.com, you need to follow specific steps and ensure you have a private domain.
In MYBOS, emails are initially configured to be sent from noreply@mybos.com. However, users have the option to enter their own email address in their profile settings, which will then be used as the reply-to email address.
To have your personal email address appear instead of noreply@mybos.com, it is necessary to possess a private domain.
This process requires several steps and coordination between MYBOS and your IT contact. To begin, please reach out to our support team at support@mybos.com with the following information:
- Your Private Email Domain(s): Provide the domain name(s) you wish to use for sending emails. If you have multiple domains, include all of them.
- Your IT Contact Details: Supply the name and email address of your IT contact, as they will receive specific configuration instructions from us.
Once you have submitted this information, the following steps will be undertaken to complete the process:
- Upon receiving the necessary details, we will initiate the setup and send instructions to your IT contact.
- Your IT contact must update the domain settings according to our instructions. If you have multiple domains, each must be configured. Note that the validity of the link may be time-limited based on your private domain settings. If it expires, please respond to the existing ticket for a new link.
- After the updates are made, your IT contact should confirm completion with us.
- MYBOS will then verify the configuration and finalise the setup in our system.
- Once the setup is complete, please ensure all your BM users have their user profile Email Address (Sent From) updated to their email of the private domain.
- You will be able to now email out of MYBOS from your own private domain!
