Database Upload Says "Skipped"

Use the upload report to see what failed, make the required changes, and reupload your file.

Uploads do not always go as planned, but most issues can be resolved quickly with a few simple checks.

Step 1: After the upload, a blue Download Report button will appear underneath the upload status. Click the button to download a report which outlines what uploads were successful and which ones have failed.

Step 2: Open the downloaded file.

Step 3: Once you have opened the file, expand Column A, which provides details on the import status of all item. Here you can see what has failed and why it failed. Some common errors include

  • Data already existing in the system
  • Mandatory fields are missing

Step 4: To fix the issues,  open the excel spreadsheet that was uploaded.

Step 5: Correct any missing/incorrect information.

Step 6: Click Save

Step 7: Reupload the database.

💡 You can correct any errors in the original spreadsheet and upload it again. Any records that were already uploaded successfully will show as “Skipped” on the next upload, as they are already in the system.
