Creating Urgent Announcements

Urgent Announcements let Building Managers share time-sensitive updates with residents and tenants, and are sent instantly to the MYBOS Resident Web and Mobile app as push notifications

Urgent Announcements can be utilised by Building Managers as a tool to quickly and reliably communicate time-sensitive information to your Resident/Tenants immediately.

Urgent Announcements are pushed out immediately to the MYBOS Resident Web and Mobile application as a push notification if the app is installed and notifications are turned on.

How to Create/Edit Urgent Announcements 

Step by Step Walkthrough

Step 1: Navigate to the Building Manager Web Portal

Step 2: Click Community located in the top left of the web portal 

Step 3: Go to the Urgent Announcements widget. 

Step 4: To create a new announcement, click the blue New Announcement button in the top right. 

Step 5: Select a start and end date of the announcement and enter a relevant subject and description.

Step 6: Press Save to finalise. 

When the announcement is live, it will look like this to residents in the resident portal:

 

💡To edit an announcement, click the 3 dots on the right side of the announcement and  click "Edit".
